Stockade Association Holds Important Annual Meeting
The Stockade Association holds five general membership meetings per year. The May meeting is the most important because it is the association’s annual meeting and the one when we elect a board of directors for the coming year.
Our annual meeting this year is being held on Thursday, May 18 at the Stockade Inn at 7 p.m. All members are invited to attend and vote on the slate of directors put forth by the Nominating Committee. This year’s slate includes: Colleen Macauly, President; Dan O’Neil, Vice President; Susannah Hand, Secretary; Zakhar Berkovich, Treasurer; Keith Dayer and Chris Marney will continue to serve on the board. Two director positions are pending, but will
be announced before May 18.
Members may also vote by proxy if they cannot attend the meeting. The proxy form can be downloaded here. Nominations will also be taken from the floor.
Our program for this meeting will be equally important. Mayoral Candidates Gary McCarthy and Marion Porterfield have been invited to speak at this meeting and answer resident’s questions about city issues. You won’t want to miss this meeting. Mark your calendars!
