Tree Lighting 2025

Our annual Stockade Tree Lighting will take place on December 7 at 5:30pm around Lawrence Circle at Front and Ferry Streets. All neighbors and visitors are welcome!

5:15pm – Gather at Lawrence, Afterglow at Arthur’s Market

Our tree has arrived and Santa is getting ready to greet neighbors at the Stockade’s Annual Tree Lighting on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 5:30 pm. Gathering at 5:15 in the circle at Lawrence, intersection of N. Ferry Street and Green Street.

All are invited to join in the singing of carols and tree lighting! We all look forward to the joyous look on the faces of our neighborhood children as they magically light our beautiful tree from the Saratoga Tree Nursery. A big thank you to Schenectady Heritage Foundation for donating this year’s tree.

Join in The Afterglow!

Join us after the tree lighting at Arthur’s Market to continue the holiday celebration with friends, refreshments, and holiday music around the piano. Arthur’s will be hosting us with extended hours and their full menu, beer and wine will be available for purchase. The Stockade Association will provide complimentary treats and cider. All are welcome.
